In order to have your hands free to teach what you are making, it is essential to have some sort of device to hold your phone.
This table clamp phone holder is inexpensive, simple, and easily adjustable for any filming position you need.
This "Tablet Stand" runs around $25 USD on Amazon. I'd give this particular clamp-on table device holder a 4 out of 5 stars.
It would be five stars if I didn't sometimes have problems with the adjustable ball clamp refusing to tighten quite enough to keep the device from drooping. I always get it figured out by loosening the ball screen and re-adjusting and tightening it, but it's a bit of a pain sometimes. Nothing is every truly perfect so who am I to complain.
I use the table clamp holder all the time for overhead, makers-eye view, and talking head shots. It's easy to move around and I can usually position it at any angle or height I need. It even stretches out enough to hold a tablet!
Be aware that if your table vibrates or you bump it, the camera will wiggle. You might consider a goose neck floor stand instead. It's about the same price. The floor stand takes up more space, MUST have a weight on the bottom to keep it tipping over if you attach a tablet and bend it over for an overhead shot. The ball joint is also a weak point here.
